Utzon Music 2024 A Rich Tapestry of Sights and Sounds

The Sydney Opera House's cherished music series, Utzon Music returns in 2024 for a triumphant 17th year. The year-round series showcases a collection of the world's leading chamber musicians and renowned soloists from western and eastern classical traditions. This much-loved chamber music program continues from March to November in the intimate Utzon Room – with the exception of one very special detour to the Concert Hall.

Feel the energy of string quartet Brooklyn Rider. Explore the nature of piano with Lisa Moore. Witness the cutting edge of chamber music with the JACK Quartet. Travel to France and Spain with Trio Karénine. Experience vocal music at its finest with VOCES8 and violinist Jack Liebeck. Discover the voices of Hageman, Strauss and Duparc with soprano Siobhan Stagg alongside pianist Nico de Villiers. Enjoy ravishing music by Haydn and Brahms with Trio Gaspard. Marvel at the nimble musicians of the LA Philharmonic Wind Quintet. Lose yourself in Afghan instrumentalist Qais Essar’s sonic time portal. And finally, be astonished by the power and virtuosity of pianist Konstantin Shamray.
