A pop-R&B phenomenon in a world-exclusive performance

Few artists captured the sound of a new generation quite like Khalid, a singer-songwriter who went from Texan teen to worldwide pop-R&B phenomenon when he was barely out of high school. Now, at the ripe old age of 26, Khalid is bringing his big hooks, laid-back anthems and immaculate vibes back to his Australian fans for a world-exclusive, never-to-be-repeated performance of his long-awaited new album Sincere.

One of the most streamed performers of the past decade, Khalid exploded onto the scene with a pair of diamond-selling smashes, 2016’s love ballad Location and 2017’s generational anti-anthem Young Dumb & Broke, launching his debut album American Teen into the top five and scoring multiple Grammy nominations. A string of era-defining collaborations followed, including massive hits with Logic (1-800-273-8255), Benny Blanco (Eastside), Normani (Love Lies), Ed Sheeran (Beautiful People), and Billie Eilish (lovely). His first EP Suncity (2018) yielded the top-10 hit Better, while his second album Free Spirit (2019), with its top-five single Talk, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

With recent singles Adore U and Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me showcasing Khalid’s evolution on this third album Sincere, the Sydney Opera House is thrilled to host the irresistible global superstar for his first live shows in Australia in five years. In a world-exclusive performance for his Australian fans, Khalid will perform the new album in its entirety in the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall in-the-round over two nights only.

Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime performance from a true generational talent.
